Dr. Cathryn Edwards is a coach with a particular interest in guiding individuals through career and personal transitions, helping uncover blind spots when they feel ‘stuck,’ and addressing challenges in women’s leadership.

With 35 years of experience as a clinician in the NHS and a career-long commitment to teaching and training health professionals, Dr. Edwards brings a wealth of expertise to her coaching practice. This is further enriched by a decade of national medical leadership roles since 2011 and the invaluable influence of exceptional coaches who have shaped her own leadership journey.

Recognising early in her career that much of clinical work involves helping others adapt to new circumstances, Dr. Edwards has long utilised coaching skills to support patients with long-term conditions and colleagues with personal and career development goals. After mentoring peers for over a decade, she earned a professional qualification as an Integral Coach® through the University of Cape Town Business School.

Passionate about working with clients from diverse professions and backgrounds, Dr. Edwards draws inspiration from memorable coaching experiences, including a career break in South Africa in 2015.
