Entry Criteria

Purpose

The overall aim of these awards is to recognise and celebrate the success of businesses and professionals within the private healthcare sector across the island of Ireland. These awards are designed to be inclusive and accessible and will be presented at a gala dinner to be held at the Crowne Plaza Belfast on Saturday, 17th May 2025.

Awards will be available for each of the categories detailed on this website.

Entry Process

To enter the awards, select the category you wish to enter (you can enter as many as you wish) and click ‘Enter Here’ to access the Awards Platform. Fill in your details and answer the questions for that category. Press submit to complete your entry. Please also upload a high-resolution logo for use on the awards evening.

Eligibility

The awards are open to all businesses and professionals in the private healthcare sector, with the following restrictions:

Identification

Please include the name of your healthcare organisation, as this will be used for referencing your submission on the awards evening and in other supporting materials.

Submission Format

Entries that do not meet the specified format may be excluded from the competition. Only submissions entered on the online platform will be accepted.

Judging Criteria

The judging panel may rely on published information and facts that are in the public domain when considering entries. Shortlisted organisations may be asked to provide confirmation of claims made.

Judging Decisions

The opinion of the judging panel in all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Impartiality

Judges will not allow personal relationships or experiences to influence their judging marks or decisions; their judging will be impartial and based solely on the quality of the entries.

Conflict of Interest

Judges will declare any perceived conflict of interest to the event organisers before reviewing any entries.

Confidentiality

All judging discussions are confidential and will not be shared or discussed with anyone outside of the judging panel prior to or after the ceremony.

Material Security

Judges will not share confidential material, judging papers, or entries with anyone outside of the judging panel.

Data Management

Judges will securely delete all judging materials immediately after the judging period or submit them to the All-Island Private Healthcare Excellence Awards team for management.

Entry Limitations

Participants may enter multiple award categories.

Category Viability

In the unlikely event that a category is not deemed viable, the organisers reserve the right to cancel that category without prior notice.

Feedback

Due to the significant volume of entries, feedback on submissions cannot be provided.

Finalist Notification

Only shortlisted finalists will be notified.

Data Usage Consent

By submitting your awards entry, you consent to the use of your data in our awards communications, including our awards newsletter, and for promotional purposes on the awards evening and in subsequent media releases. Please highlight any confidential information in your submission.

Category Subdivision

If a category receives a substantial number of entries, judges may subdivide that category or create a new additional category.

Data Protection

All personal data will be processed and stored securely for no longer than necessary, in accordance with GDPR regulations.

Photography and Recording

A professional photographer and video production company will be present during the event on Saturday 17th May 2025. Attendees consent to filming and sound recording as audience members. Photographs and recordings taken during the event will remain the intellectual property of the All-Island Private Healthcare Excellence Awards and may be used for promotional purposes post-event.

Tickets and Cancellations

Cancellations are permitted 28 days or more in advance of the event. No cancellations are accepted within 28 days of the event date, and therefore no refunds will be issued after this point. However, a substitute delegate can be nominated. All cancellation or substitution requests must be made in writing to info@phexcellence.com. In the event of full cancellation of the awards ceremony, a full refund will be provided within 28 days.

Entry Deadline

Entries must be received no later than 5 pm on Friday, 14th March 2025.
